‘Adil started from a city Theatre landed in Bollywood, aims to work as a main character in movies’

Srinagar, Aug 11 (KNO): Knowing that he has a talent, he kept on trying, trying and trying and finally succeeded in securing his place in Bollywood. Meet Aadil Ahmed Pala son of Ali Muhammad Pala, a resident of Dalgate area of Srinagar, who started his acting career at the age of 16 from at a local Theatre in the city. Today he is a junior artist in Bollywood industry and aims to act in movies as a main character soon. Besides working in a local theatre, he was picked up for anchoring in a program “Famous Voice of Kashmir” that was being played in Tagore Hall Srinagar. “After performing in the show, I got an offer with a character name Adil in the drama serial Avrodh—the siege within—which was premiered in on Sony live,” the young lad said. He, however, said that though the role given to him was negative in Avrodh, but that chance turned out to be great learning experience for him and the step raised confidence level in him. “In the meantime, I played a lead role in a Kashmiri movie that was screened on international film festival eve. I played the role of Sikander, the main character,” Adil, who is pursuing his Bachelors at Amar Singh College Srinagar, told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) He said after his role in the Kashmiri film, he starting getting appreciations from various quarters including some Bollywood celebrities. “And I finally got a chance to work in Bajrangi Bhaijan, movie and another movie Raazi. I worked with superstars like Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif,” Adil said. He said COVID played spoilsport for his future prospectus and he was about to get more major roles in Bollywood movies. “At present I am working in local advertisement, video albums and Doordarshan Urdu and Doordarshan Kashmir serials,” Adil said. He said that Kashmir is full of talent. “My message for the youth is work hard and explore new means. Youth must work towards fulfilling their dreams. My simple message is that you can achieve anything in the world,” the Adil said. Asked his future dreams, he said he would like to work as a main character in any Bollywood movie, sooner the better—(KNO)
